Shielded Signals Course
In this course we will be discussing this phenomenon by looking at the basics of radio waves, a little history of TEMPEST, some of the government policies that direct the control of compromising emanations, some products associated with TEMPEST mitigations, as well as some installation best practices that Adamo has developed through the years. Our intention with this course is that it introduces you to the foundational principles of TEMPEST. We want this to be an aid to you, and that we could be a conversation partner with you in the advancement of protecting our country's national secrets. Approved for ASIS CPE Credit. (4.25 hours)
$ 1,199.00
Unlimited
What is Radio Frequency? | RF Testing
Topics covered in this training: introduction to radio frequency, frequency and wavelength, resources, modulation, signal strength, RF shielding effectiveness (RFSE), mechanisms of RF shielding, RF wavelengths and research involving passive emanation interceptions. Approved for ASIS CPE Credit. (1 hour)
$ 399.00
Unlimited
Introduction to Basic TEMPEST | Shielding Approaches and Performance
Topics covered in this training: what is compromising emanation, a little history, TEMPEST policy, typical mitigations, inspectable space, red/black separation, TEMPEST checklist and RF attenuation performance. Topics covered in this training: shielding approaches & performance, AO & CTTA recommendations, RF testing signal generator BONN RF amplifier, reference calibration measurements before testing shielding effectiveness and testing through container walls (open door and closed door). Approved for ASIS CPE Credit. (1.5 hours)

Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 accredited facilities and other high security spaces often require TEMPEST mitigations to protect radio frequency signals. In this course, we will be discussing TEMPEST, the phenomenon of compromising emanations, by examining the basics of radio waves, a brief history of TEMPEST, some of the government policies directing the control of these emanations, associated products for TEMPEST mitigations, as well as installation best practices developed by Adamo over the years. We will also be discussing an overview of Radio Frequency (RF), including shielding techniques and RF Testing, along with an exclusive demo video. Our intention with this course is that it introduces you to the foundational principles of TEMPEST. We want this to be an aid to you, and that we could be a conversation partner with you in the advancement of protecting our country’s national secrets. All participants who successfully complete the course will earn a course certificate.
