Rapid SCIF is a line of predesigned 20-foot ISO shipping containers ready to be built to ICD 705 Tech Spec standards. The products allow customers to bypass the back-and-forth of the design process and skip straight to design approval within just a few business days. The product line also eliminates long lead times for materials, which can further slow construction. Adamo CEO Josh Godknecht says Rapid SCIF is the quickest way to build a secure space that stays within the process outlined in the Tech Spec. “There are many instances in which getting accredited space as fast as possible is mission critical, but the reality is that it takes significant time to get formally sponsored, plan, design, build and accredit space,” Godknecht says. With a typical design/build construction project, you may be looking at six to nine months before your facility is ready for accreditation.
“The number one benefit of this program,” Godknecht says, “is to expedite the critical path to operational readiness as much as possible without stepping outside of the proper administrative process of ICD 705.”
There are five different use spaces available: a server room, a storage space, a conference room, and two workstation configurations. All Rapid SCIF spaces meet STC 50 acoustic protection, and come standard with minimum TEMPEST measures, high-security locks, IDS, ACS, HVAC and delivery within the continental U.S. All Rapid SCIF products include unlimited accreditation consulting support, including draft sections of a Construction Security Plan (CSP) and Pre-Construction Checklist before fabrication, and construction information for the Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) plus photo documentation at project completion.
